Native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia, Rafflesia arnoldii produces the largest individual flower in the world, capable of reaching over three feet in diameter. The parasitic plant lives hidden within host vines and blooms only briefly, releasing an odor similar to decaying flesh in order to attract pollinating insects.
