Triptych acrylic painting of reclining female figure surrounded by white candles and lush green plants.

Isis — known to the Egyptians as Aset — is the goddess of magic, motherhood, and devotion. She embodies love as a creative force, one powerful enough to restore life itself. Through her grief and her magic, she resurrected Osiris and protected their son Horus, becoming the symbol of eternal care and resilience. In the Book of the Dead, Isis appears as a guardian of the deceased, spreading her wings to protect the soul on its journey. Her presence marks the threshold between loss and renewal, between the human and the divine. Often shown with a throne-shaped crown or outstretched wings, Isis reminds us that love is not weakness — it is the most powerful form of transformation.
