Miss Necromancy: Rot, but make it sexy

Amorphophallus titanum

Native to the rainforests of Sumatra, Amorphophallus titanum is known for producing one of the largest and rarest flowering structures in the world. The plant can take 7-10 years to bloom and, when it finally opens, the flowering lasts only 24 to 48 hours while releasing an odor similar to decaying flesh in order to attract pollinating insects.
